Can Pulmonary Emphysemia Be Cured?

lung2When the pulmonary alveoli (air sacs) mix into fibrosis (thickened tissues) or become sealed up as bulla the elasticity of the lung wall decreases, which is described as pulmonary fibrosis. All these problems reduce the vital capacity of the lung or effective working areas. The residual volume of the lung increases and the effective ventilation volume decreases until it produces a situation called general hypoxia or deficiency of oxygen in the tissues which is Pulmonary Emphysemia.

Long term bronchitis, asthma, lupus, pneumonitis or toxic or organic dust deposits can all cause pulmonary emphysemia. The changes to the pulmonary alveoli walls elasticity and in particular the capillaries within the walls increases the resistance to blood flow placing an extra burden on the right ventricle of the heart giving possible rise to right heart failure.

When pulmonary emphysemia was originally diagnosed modern medicine said that there was no way to recover the lung elasticity of the pulmonary alveoli except to control any secondary infections that might further increase the area affected.

However Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine has always recognised herbs with these functions. In his formula Prof. Duo Gao has utilised herbs with these abilities.

  1. Anti-viral herbs such as Jin Yin Hua (Flos Lonicerae), Yu Xing Cao (Herba Houttuyinae).
  2. Herbs which recover the bronchial capillary tubes epithelium (filters) and eliminate sputum such as Bai He (Bulbus Lilii).
  3.  Herbs to improve elasticity of the capillaries to make the most effective circulation through the heart and lungs. Herbs such as Dan Shen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae), Tao Ren (Semen Persicae).
  4. Herbs to improve the energy of the cellular metabolism such as Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng).
  5. Herbs that increase the surface mucin (glycoproteins) which recover pulmonary alveolar tension such as Shan Yao (Rhizhoma Dioscoreae) and Da Zao (Fructus Jujubae).

With experience in using such formulae the effective rate of improvement for pulmonary emphysemia especially that caused by long term bronchitis can be measured at up to 98%. A great many patients have found this solution their only answer.

lung1Prof Duo Gao was born in the cold north west of China where industrial pollution is quite a serious medical problem. In his first twenty years of practice he had to specialise in the treatment of chronic bronchitis and pulmonary emphysemia. With a further ten years research and development in the UK Prof Duo Gao created the Enliven Lung Sachets that are effectively and easily used. Pulmonary Emphysemia should no longer be looked on as a stubborn disease. Furthermore Enliven Lung Sachets have no side effects and because most of the ingredients can be used as common organic foods the long term use has no problem. A normal course of treatment lasts for three months. But to get the greatest curative benefits it is recommended to continue the treatment in chronic cases for one year.
